Calderon was a character from Species: The Awakening.
Biography[]
Calderon was a male hybrid created by Forbes McGuire. Calderon, like all other hybrids created by Forbes, was sterile. Calderon worked as a receptionist in a hotel. When Miranda Hollander checked in with her uncle, Calderon noticed her. Tom also asked if Calderon knew Forbes, but Calderon denied knowing him.
Couple of days later, Miranda approached Calderon and undressed in front of him. Calderon at first objected to that, but when Miranda revealed herself to be hybrid, he went along with it. They kissed for a while, getting dream-flashes of their alien forms, but Miranda killed Calderon by striking her tongue through his head, then later stabbing him in the chest.

- Calderon is the last adult male seen in the franchise.
- Calderon is one of two males seen and killed in The Awakening, after Rinaldo.
- Like the dream male in Species, he only has a few moments of screen time, lasting for only a few seconds, a lot less than that creature. His look, however, can be seen in promotional material for The Awakening.
- Miranda's killing of Calderon is not made clear until Forbes question her about it.
