Cobb is a minor character and, subsequently, a minor antagonist from Species III.

Species III[]
Cobb was employed at a local gas station in an obscure and rural area near the Dean's college campus where Amelia stopped to refill her car while on her way to Hastings. Cobb took an instant attraction to her and she was noticeably flirtatious with him, inspiring him to put the gas pump into automatic and follow Amelia into the restroom where she was attending to her degenerative rash with the intent of raping her.
However, Amelia beat him at his own game and he ended up being raped by her on the toilet seat with his pants and boxers down and his face close to her naked breasts. Although he enjoyed it at first, she quickly became rough and began to cause him great discomfort; she finally revealed her alien nature, piercing him through the skull with her tongue, killing him.

- His sex scene with Amelia in the bathroom mirrors Patrick's sex scene with the debutante and her sister as well as Eve.
- However, he was killed before he could climax during sex.
- He was a minor villain due to his sexual and predatory nature.
- Like other humans who have come into contact with the alien species and died at their hands, his death was not seen on screen. His body would be discovered by others shortly after as well.
- He was Amelia's only known sexual encounter seen during the film.
- His death and personality also mirrors Robbie Llywelyn for a few reasons:
- He and Robbie were both killed by Amelia and Sil who punctured both of their skulls with their tongues.
- They were both probably sexual predators/rapists who liked to have their way with women.
- They were also both smug, cocky, somewhat muscular, dominating, sexual and overconfident, which in the end was ultimately their downfall.
- In addition, Dan Smithson, an empath from the first film, explained that some men get insistent when rejected.
- However, unlike Robbie; he nearly succeeded in sexual intercourse only to be killed before he could climax at the end of it.
