Appearances | Species III |
Colleen is a character in Species III. She was an apparent empathic believer of extraterrestrial life, but was frightened when crossing paths with a human-alien hybrid.
In the series[]
Colleen was a sci-fi fan and a believer of extraterrestrial life. She went to conventions on government conspiracies, also giving interviews as a specialist on this subject.
After closing her shop, Colleen found Sara sitting alone on a bench, and offered to drive her home. While driving, Colleen told Sara about her strong beliefs in extraterrestrial life and her ability to communicate with aliens, much for Sara's curiosity. The "girl" suddenly ordered her stop the car near a rail-tracks, and got out of the car chasing it. Sara was instinctively following Yosef, a male hybrid. When Sara fell, Colleen ran to see if she is alright.
Sara's arm had been cut off in the trails and regenerated right before Colleen's eyes. Terrified, Colleen ran back to her car and drove away.
Notes[]
- Colleen is the comical answer of the Species franchise to general extraterrestrial science fiction. She acts as a confident believer of alien life, but turns out to be completely ignorant of the Species' presence on Earth, which came to be through communication from an extraterrestrial source.
- The scene Sara frightens Colleen with her regenerative nature is reminiscent of the scene Sil displays her regenerating thumb for the woman she kidnaps.
- Colleen is one of few humans who are startled by a hybrid's accelerated regeneration throughout the Species series, along with Sil's doctor, Sil's hostage and Dennis.
