Robbie Llywelyn is a minor character in the movie Species.
Biography[]
Robbie was hit on in a club by Sil. They left the club and drove to his place. Robbie went to took a shower and invited Sil to join him. Sil did after a while, but suddenly recoiled and wanted to leave. Robbie didn't take that well and wanted to force Sil to stay. Sil played along and kissed him, and then killed him by stabbing her tongue through his head.
After Xavier Fitch's team arrived and discovered Robbie's body, they concluded that Sil rejected Robbie because he was diabetic.
Trivia[]
- He attempted to have sex with Sil, but failed at the task since she killed him before he could even begin.
- Like other humans who have come into contact with the alien species and died at their hands, his death was seen on screen (this was not the same case for Cobb from the third film). His body would be discovered by others shortly after as well.
- Much LIke Cobb, he was a minor villain due to his sexual nature.
- He was the first one of Sil's failed sexual encounters seen during the film.
- He was also diabetic, which is why Sil rejected and killed him.
- His death and personality also mirrors Cobb's for a few reasons:
- He and Cobb were both killed by Sil and Amelia, who punctured both of their skulls with their tongues.
- They were both probably sexual predators/rapists who liked to have their way with women.
- They were also both smug, cocky, somewhat muscular, dominating, sexual and overconfident, which in the end was ultimately their downfall.
- In addition, Dan Smithson, an empath who was also from the first film, explained that some men get insistent when rejected.
- However, unlike Cobb, he failed at achieving sexual intercourse as he was only able to start kissing Sil before she quickly killed him
