This article is about Species, the cancelled game. You may be looking for other things named Species.
Species was a planned video game adaptation of the Species movie, developed by Cyberdreams Interactive Entertainment with MGM Interactive attached as publisher.[2] Cyberdreams was probably best known for the game Dark Seed that also used the imagery of H.R. Giger.[3]
Species creator, Dennis Feldman, collaborated with the team[4] as a creative consultant.[5]
The game was announced in July 1995 and had a planned release date in 1996.[6] While other future games had pages on the Cyberdreams website, Species unfortunately didn't even reach that phase.[7] The expected release date in 1996, however, was not reached and the project was ultimately cancelled when Cyberdreams dissolved in 1997.[8]
